We entered the marine and aviation fueling market in 1996, and incorporated Hyundai Fuels as a dedicated bunkering entity in Singapore in 2018. In just a few years, we have grown into a trusted fuel trading partner for ship operators worldwide.
We supply marine fuels to over 260 global clients across 30+ countries, with 2.5 million MT of fuels supplied annually and 8,000+ fixtures served. Our trading volume has grown consistently for three consecutive years, and more than 90% of our customers return to order with us again.
Our core expertise lies in North-East Asia. We are the 3rd largest bunker trader at Korea ports, operating physical barge pools out of Daesan and Ulsan. In Japan, we run physical operations and B2B trading at Nagoya, with plans to expand across additional Japanese ports.
While rooted in Asia, our network spans Singapore, China, Thailand, the ARA region, Fujairah, and the US Gulf. We leverage deep regional knowledge to serve customers wherever their vessels call, expanding our worldwide port volume from 20% to 43% of total business over the past three years.
We are actively moving into the next generation of marine fuels. We have signed an MOU with HMM — Korea's largest container line — for methanol fuels, and have already delivered biofuels to HMM. Looking ahead, we are developing biofuel blends (B24, B30, B100) and Bio LSMGO for Singapore, and green/grey methanol supply for Korea.
